    300 million riyals are Benin exports to the Kingdom, with a request for starting agricultural projects 
     
     

     Trade mission seeking a productive cooperation in the commercial sector
     
     
     

     
    Ambassador of Benin Republic in the Kingdom (David and Abe) has emphasized that relations between the two countries will improve in the coming period, he pointed out the conclusion of an agreement to establish the Saudi Embassy in Dakar, where it will give a new impetus in the relations between the two countries.
     
    During his visit accompanied by the trade delegation, he met with the Chamber General Secertary, Mr.Adnan bin Abdullah Al-Nuaim on Monday, April 26th, 2010, in the Chamber headquarter located in Dammam, the two countries also have rich cooperation in the sectors of education and culture, indicating that more than (1000) students Benin Republic are studying in various universities in Saudi Arabia in various disciplines such as medicine, law, Sharia and religion.
     
    In his speech, President of the Trade Mission of Benin Republic (Akind, Rene Robert) said that his republic looking for partnership with the Kingdom in the agricultural sector by investors from Saudi Arabia who has invited them to invest in the Republic and take advantage of the offers provided to facilitate investment.
     
    For his part, Chamber General Secretary, Mr.Adnan Al-Nuaim explained that this visit comes with Benin Republic interest in trade cooperation with the Kingdom to improve the commercial and chemical relations between the two countries,adding that Kingdom is looking for agricultural countries to establish the agricultural projects that successfully ensure a stable supply of food, said: "Benin could be considered as the perfect place agricultural projects developments through cooperation between Companies in both countries.
     
    AlNuaim also explained that Benin is considered as new trading partner relatively did not achieve significant progress, highlighting the most important agricultural exports between the two countries in cotton, cashew nuts, vegetables and dairy products in the Kingdom, stressing that there are good opportunities for cotton in the local market which form the Kingdom's imports large quantities of cotton different kinds.
     
    The delegation represents Benin businessmen specializing in the following disciplines:
    (Petrochemicals, Agriculture - Ports - Communications - Construction – and Engineering).
